I cannot thank BMC and Dr Evan Maynard enough for taking such an exceptional care of me during my June visit to the urgent care. I was returning home from overseas having done emergency dental work down in Mexico, and having a massive infection, nausea and debilitating headaches as a result. The kindness, competence and the professionalism I received was outstanding. I was put on fluids, given proper medication and care and stayed until I was feeling better. RN who administered the IV and my medication was incredibly patient and compassionate, and I honestly can’t remember the last time an urgent care visit literally put me back together like this. I went to urgent care at the Boulder Medical Center on North Broadway to have a health professional evaluate cat scratches I received the day before by a new addition to the family - a rescue cat named Eleanor. The Doctor whom I saw was thorough, kind & helpful . The Medical center urgent care is an excellent resource for treatment that does not require a hospital emergency room . The Doctor prescribed an antibiotic cream.
I already completed a review earlier today. It was a good experience if you can say that about getting a tetanus shot, thanks to Kate (?) who gave the shot, and the nurse (?) who checked the injury. I liked the toy truck design on the pretty bandaid applied to the vaccination site.
