“I was recommended this company by my bridal shop. I purchased my dress a couple of years ago when the pandemic had started and the wedding just kept getting held back. Now that I’m finally getting married in may of next year, I opened up my dress and found that it had yellowed (this is what I get for storing it in the guest room where it gets hot in the summer). I called elegance preserved and they picked up my dress for free, gave me an estimate of the cost a couple days later (they won’t touch your dress without your permission by you approving the estimate) and personally delivered it back to me. The whole process was quick, simple and smooth and I have to say I’m actually impressed at how neatly the dress was presented back to me. It came back neatly packaged in a box with a protective linen covering over the box. Now it’s so easy to store too. They even included museum gloves so I don’t mess it up again.“

“Top Hat is the friendliest and kindest place to have cleaning and mending done I've encountered on the peninsula and most probably in my life. Their fees are always more than reasonable and they have mended for me jackets, shirts, pants and backpacks on top of all the dry cleaning I send them.“

“Excellent customer service. They were really short-staffed the week I tried them and they took my sweater as a custom rush order so I could pick up prior to leaving town. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. I pick ed up my sweater which was handed to me folded in a protective and breathable pouch. I've never received such care for a sweater. Kudos to Crystal Cleaning. They were also very polite and friendly at drop off and pick up. Wish I lived nearby, as I'd come a lot more often .“

“I've been going to Laurel Cleaners for a few years, mostly for tailoring but also dry cleaning on occasion. They always do a wonderful job, especially on original hem for jeans. Today, though, I became a customer for life! The zipper on my daughter's Halloween costume broke while trying it on at 4pm on October 30. I panicked, and rushed it over to this shop. She took a look and told me she could fix the zipper before noon the next day! After being in panic mode, the service and accommodation was priceless for this mama... and she still only charged me $10 for the emergency fix. I can't say enough about how happy I am I knew to bring it here!! They are amazing.“

“This was one of my favorite experiences, not because it was proximite. Not because they did the best job of any cleaner I've ever known, and I live in Tiburon and still opted to come down here when I would work from my Peninsula office. It was that good.But the 5 stars was for Jeff. I wanted to leave this here before a new owner comes in. Jeff always had a smile, always remembered your name, asked questions about life, and over the last 20 years became a good friend, a constant before, during, and after the pandemic, and I only wish I could have said goodbye. Taken from us far too young, a major life experience for me, and a major source of joy, will be leaving with Jeff, and if any of his family or friends were to research him, in this time of grieving, I wanted this out there that he was a major impact on our community, a shining light of friendly and kind spirit, and a wonderful business owner that added so much to our little San Mateo. “They did a truly amazing job on cleaning my wedding dress. I had originally taken it to the chain Elegance Preserved, which called my dress "challenging" due to the dirt at the bottom of the hem, and charged me over $100 more than Rose Cleaners charged me. When I took it to Rose Cleaners, they immediately said that it was no problem, charged me their standard wedding dress cleaning rate, and returned it to me a week later with amazing results! It looks as if it was never worn! Thank you!!“

“Haven't written a review in a while and decided my new dry cleaner was the best way to dabble back into Yelp. The son and his mom that own this place are great and super friendly. He always remembers my name and exactly what I brought in - he even remembered randomly that I didn't pick up a white shirt in over a month. It was there because he offered to try to clean it again after a hard stain wouldn't come out in the first go. Pricing is reasonable and I feel like the cleaning and service is a lot better than my last place. Parking is easy right next to the door and it feels safe and clean.“

“This was my first experience with Menlo Art Cleaners. I hope this experience continues. My previous dry cleaner closed its business (for good). At the suggestion of an acquaintance, I tried Menlo Art Cleaners to have a very nice, poly-filled winter coat (for very cold weather) dry cleaned. It came back looking wonderful -- I hadn't had it cleaned in a long time, tho' I don't wear it a lot. The price was exceptional, probably less than I would have paid at my previous cleaners.The timing was roughly a week.
