Well, I'm just a little too fat for it, but still want to wear it to a wedding next year that happens to be in Mexico. So I took the skirt to All Star Cleaners explained my goal. The lady told me to drive to Joann's Fabric, find a fabric that matched the waistband. I did just that. Went back another day also bringing a PJ bottom that was loosing the elastic. She measured me for both items, and they were ready for pickup in a week! Fantastic prices, I can't remember how much? They accept credit, cash and I think another form, like Venmo? Thumbs up, five stars, great place to go for alterations.“

“This was one of my favorite experiences, not because it was proximite. Not because they did the best job of any cleaner I've ever known, and I live in Tiburon and still opted to come down here when I would work from my Peninsula office. It was that good.But the 5 stars was for Jeff. I wanted to leave this here before a new owner comes in. Jeff always had a smile, always remembered your name, asked questions about life, and over the last 20 years became a good friend, a constant before, during, and after the pandemic, and I only wish I could have said goodbye. Taken from us far too young, a major life experience for me, and a major source of joy, will be leaving with Jeff, and if any of his family or friends were to research him, in this time of grieving, I wanted this out there that he was a major impact on our community, a shining light of friendly and kind spirit, and a wonderful business owner that added so much to our little San Mateo. She told me that they would dry clean it first, and if that didn't work - they would wash it.
