“TPLO Surgery by Dr. Espinosa. My black shepherd had tplo surgery in late June of last year. This is him now (about 10 months later). I cannot thank Dr. Espinosa, Dr. Exelby, and the staff enough for helping my little guy and I could not have asked for a better outcome. We followed the instructions as closely as possible but we also applied the stretches/exercises to both legs, not just the injured one. Once he could do moderate walks, we slowly integrated uphill work to build his muscle. We continued doing the stretches to both legs months beyond the recommended time. Because we know how he hurt his ACL the first time, we do not let him repeat that behavior, and also don't allow playing that involves jumping. I'm posting a video because I really wanted to see one of someone's dog after recovering from this surgery and wasn't able to find one.“
