“I was looking for a serious contractor to assist with design and construction of a complete remodel of a kitchen and flooring. I interviewed Virgil who came across personable and enthusiastic about taking on a large project. Knowing Urbane Floorings home-base is located in Murrieta, I was a little nervous regarding the distance on a project in Orange County. As in any construction project, we had multiple questions and suggestions every step of the way. Whenever I called Virgil regarding a question or concern, I found him receptive! Virgil would ALWAYS return your call or text in a timely manner. Virgil partnered with Luna Construction and for us was a good fit. If we asked for them to return on a minor adjustment, they returned and completed to our satisfaction. Urbane Flooring is reasonably priced and all work is guaranteed. This company does more than flooring and will work with their customers. I've heard horror stories from angry people who dived into large home projects and I'm lucky we didn't have to run into those negative stories. Don't be hesitant to ask them questions and they will respond. I would recommend them for a remodel!“

“My experience was very different than others on here. And my 4 stars should probably be lower given my experience but they did try and fix the situation. I picked a slab from Arizona tile and MJ granite came out and measured. Then two days later came and installed the counter (2 hours after the installation window they gave me). However, a day later after installing the plumbing I noticed the sinks weren’t center with the cabinets below. They came out to see and obviously it needed to be redone (RIP beautiful slab) In order to remedy the situation they purchased a new slab without asking me to look at it first. When I asked to see a photo of it, they brought the slab to my house for me to look at, (massive kudos) which was amazing since I had already taken multiple trips with all my kids to pick the original slab. It wasn’t exactly the same slab I wanted of course but it was the same line/finish/etc so I was understanding with the situation. So I picked my desired section of the slab then they remeasured fabricated and came to demo and installed again. After inspecting the 2nd job, they cut the faucet holes off center. I honestly was on the verge of tears at this point. But on we go mistakes happen 3rd times a charm right. So there was a section on the 2nd slab they could still use. They were determined to fix the situation so for a 3rd time they measured and fabricated the 3rd countertop and came the same day to demo and install. Finally I have an even and correctly measured countertop and backsplash in a beautiful honed marble. The finished countertop does look great. And if it would have been fabricated and installed correctly with my original piece of marble I purchased it would be a 5 star. But unfortunately the entire experience was really irritating and disappointing.“

“Danny did our tile a few weeks ago. I meant to send this review before but forgot. I called a couple of other tile setters who never called me back. Danny called me on a Sunday which to begin with was impressive as it was Thanksgiving weekend! He showed up when he said he would for the estimate and when I showed him the tile we got from Lowes, he pretty much flat out said he didn't want to do the job because it wouldn't turn out well because the tile was defective (he then proceeded to show me why). I'm in the construction business but not tile, so by him wanting to turn down the job, that sent a good message to me. He said he didn't want to do a job that he nor I would be satisfied with. That to me is professional as most contractors are usually in it for the money. Long story short we bought a nicer tile from a supplier that he recommended and it cost us $300 less! He showed up at the day and time agreed to to do the installation and the job turned out perfect. We bought a 3D type of tile that had to be match perfectly to line up the 3D effect and it is seamless. I would recommend Danny to anyone who wants a professional and conscientious job done right. He may not be the cheapest but in my line of work I know for a fact that you get what you pay for and fixing mistakes is costly and normally will cost twice the amount to fix. “We recently had vinyl plank installed in our home by a different business (*not* Precision Flooring) and we had some concerns about it. We were hoping to get the opinion of an independent flooring installer about whether our concerns were valid, and if so, how to best move forward. We called a couple of flooring businesses, and while very polite and sympathetic, they essentially didn't want to agree to come out and give us their thoughts, even though we were happy to pay them for their time. Feeling a bit defeated, we discovered Precision Flooring and called John (the owner). Not only was he gracious enough to spend time speaking with us on the phone, but he then offered to come to our home the next day! He looked at the areas that we were concerned about, gave us his thoughts, and shared with us some ideas about how to move forward. When he was leaving, we tried to pay him for his time and expertise, and also as show of appreciation, but he was adamantly unwilling to take any money. John is an honest and decent person, traits that are becoming harder to come by these days. We regret not having discovered Precision Flooring before hiring someone else, but we won't hesitate to use them in the future.“

“We wanted to updated our flooring and fireplace tile in our home. We saw the fall ad on TV and decided to stop in the local showroom. We were greeted by Darcy, who was friendly and helpful showing us samples of flooring that met our needs. We also met Jim Burke, our sales rep, at the same visit. We scheduled an appointment with Jim for measuring and viewing of the flooring samples in our home. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and offered suggestions for our home. The quote we received was fair and ultimately we decided to move forward with the project. The project included demo of tile and carpet, installation of luxury vinyl flooring, baseboard, and stack stone around our fireplace. The demo and installation of our flooring took less than a week. Our flooring installers, Angel and Oscar, were fantastic! The ladies in the SD office who scheduled our install appointments were friendly and helpful. We are very happy with how our flooring turned out! The install of our fireplace tile turned out great! The whole experience from staff, installs, to the completed project was amazing! Thank you to Jim, Darcy, Angel, Oscar, and the SD staff!“
