“My first visit to this lovely salon at the London in West Hollywood was truly wonderful. My stylist was Darren Engel. I have not been this happy leaving a salon in over 10 years. I have not found anyone to cut my hair the way I was hoping. I only waited til I washed and styled my hair the first time after he cut it to see if I was just as happy at styling my hair myself to write this review. He did an amazing job and I have received so many compliments. Darren has years of experience under his belt and you can see it in the quality of service he provides. i was having an absolutely terrible week and went into the shop for a pedicure. susan informed me it would be around a 45 minute wait, which wasn’t a problem, but like i said, i was having a terrible week and was very eager to find a place that could fix my disgusting feet asap.

when i stepped outside briefly, i came face to face with an unhoused individual who put his hands on me and got aggressively in my face. i don’t bring this up to shame him, it’s not his fault, it’s a systemic issue. susan immediately ran outside, saved me, brought me back in, and urged me to soak my feet and enjoy the massage chairs until she was ready. more care than my own mother who disowned me.

now we haven’t even gotten to the best part yet, the pedicure. literally the best pedicure of my life. my feet were disgusting, we’re talking big thick calluses. susan brought out the power tools for this one and shaved all that gunk off so effectively, with love, care, and passion. i am truly walking on air and feel like i lost five pounds. i cannot stop walking.

my feet are brand new and my toes are the most beautiful they have ever been. all of this for $55 including gel. can u believe it?

12/10 recommend. i will absolutely be back. ask for susan. she rocks. please support this small family business. the phone was ringing nonstop and they were short staffed because her sister was sick, yet susan never missed a beat and still showed up with so much care.
