My first visit to this lovely salon at the London in West Hollywood was truly wonderful. My stylist was Darren Engel. I have not been this happy leaving a salon in over 10 years. I have not found anyone to cut my hair the way I was hoping. I only waited til I washed and styled my hair the first time after he cut it to see if I was just as happy at styling my hair myself to write this review. He did an amazing job and I have received so many compliments. Darren has years of experience under his belt and you can see it in the quality of service he provides. Darren Engel had a Groupon coupon and after looking at his work online I decided to try him, as I have long hair and that's his specialty. I am so glad I did! First off he is just the most personable, authentic, non pretentious person, who at the same time has been working with high end clientele and celebrities for 3 decades. He treated me like I was the most important client he had ever had. He took time to discuss my hair and my preferences and suggested a few minor improvements, and then he gave me the loveliest haircut ever. Now as for his blow dry...it's phenomenal! It lasted a week, even through Yoga! He is darling and talented and keeps his ego humble. Loved him!
