The owners are kind hearted and embody so much history passed on to them. They welcome everyone to experience and learn! There are virtual classes available for anyone to partake even around the world! There are also in-person classes at reasonable times to fit into your schedule and around work hours. Their website is easy to navigate and you can also just dial their number and speak to the owners directly! If you’re looking for a martial arts studio that teaches you the the physical and mental skills and also helps you heal? This may be the home you’re looking for!“

850 N Rose Dr Ste D, Placentia“What a wonderful studio! We came in for our trial and felt so welcome and so at home. We have only taken 2 classes and my two kids cannot get enough. One thing to note, they do an amazing job of educating you on what to expect. Right after signing up, we received a video telling us about the studio and its history. Followed up with an educational video on how to tie the belt properly. I truly feel like we had all of our questions we didn't know we even had answered. Not to mention the uniform was provided, a t-shirt and the most informational packet to help a non karate mom. I cannot wait to see what being apart of the AMAA family for years to come.“

There are plenty of Tae Kwon Do schools in my area but I do make a little drive for Master Nam and his team. I've seen my son grow from a shy timid child into a more self confident, disciplined kid. Master Nam teaches but always makes time for some fun for the kids . You can tell he really enjoys what he does and he goes above and beyond for these kids. He throws movie nights, nerf parties bouncy houses and so much more. We're happy to have found prestige and we'll be sticking around for sure“

It was a bonus that she was able to take a trial class with a borrowed gi before committing. I love that she enjoys going every week cause it's fun (according to her), but it makes my mom heart happy and at ease knowing she's picking up self-defense skills, too.“

My 4-year-old son has been attending for 3 months, and it has already made a huge difference in his confidence, physical skills, and emotional development. This dojo goes beyond teaching karate; it instills values like character, discipline, and teamwork in kids. Sensei Haley is incredible - my son admires her and eagerly looks forward to his karate class each week. We are so grateful we found this place!“

An intimate gymn experience. Small class where you are given attention and can ask questions. The other people at this gymn are very supportive and kind and will help you as well. Price wise ...these kinda gymns are always on the high side but this gymn is on the more reasonable side but yes it is still more expensive than the gymns you pay for and don't go to haha. If you are on the fence... go check it out they offer small circuit training and fighting classes like mma and boxing workouts. That is more variety than the other spots. Hopefully this review helps.“

I finally convinced him to go to a trial session and within ten minutes Sensei Zion had him hooked. He says he loves karate now and has been practicing his moves all over the house. Sensei Zion was so patient, organized, and intentional in the way he introduced everything. I could not be more grateful for how effectively he worked with my shy, sensitive child.“

The moment he walked into the studio he was graciously greeted by the instructors. They were welcoming and helpful. No pressure to join, just informative and welcoming. The team at American Martial Arts Academy provides a nurturing the supportive environment for the kids. The studio definitely feels like a family owned business. They are attentive to each child and knows them by their name. It's nice to be to hear yours child's name as you enter the studio. Makes you feel at home.“

The black belt master closed the center and refused to refund. All star has no obligation to take their mass but the owner said we don't need to pay unitl our pervious contact with back belt taekwondo diamond bar expires. To protect the taekwondo industry they take responsibility! I really appreciate their kindness and may God bless their business!“

To everyone who is seeking quality instruction and a supportive community they will welcome you. The center’s commitment to inclusivity is evident in its diverse program offerings. Whether you’re interested in personalized one‑on‑one private lessons, the focused attention of semi‑private sessions, the energy of group classes, or the technical challenge of sparring and weapon classes, AK has something for everyone. Particularly noteworthy is the Special Disabilities Class, which provides tailored instruction for students with special needs.“

860 W Imperial Hwy i, Brea“Our little guy was interested in starting Taekwondo and his friend from school was going here. Since his Mom highly recommended TKS, we decided to try it. In just 2 short months, our little guy has learned so much. The Masters work carefully with him to build his skills and what I love the most is that while they are focused on training, they are also teaching him about respect. They are influencing his whole self, his view on how to demonstrate active listening and they have even helped him understand how important it is to put away his toys with no help! We recently participated in a Make-up belt test and were able to see what different belts had learned while the kids proved their abilities. We were so excited to see each child at a different level, demonstrate what they had learned and prove that they deserved to move to the next belt. We were also impressed with the confidence, active listening and respect that each student showed. And of course, we loved to see the different levels break boards in different ways. TKS Martial Arts Center has an amazing summer special going. For $99 we got a month of classes, the registration fee and his uniform. This allowed us to try out the classes and see if he liked it. Which he really did!“

“This is the best Jiu Jitsu class because they truly focus on teaching. I've tried other places where it's mostly about fun. I don't want to spend money, especially time, driving and waiting for my kid for a Jiu Jitsu class just for fun. But here, after just one free class, I didn't hesitate to sign up for a year. They really teach things even from the first class. I really like the coaches here, especially Mr. Albert. He is kind yet strict, maintaining full control to ensure that kids are not just playing around but learning properly. I appreciate the balance of discipline and kindness. I am very thankful to have found this place and highly recommend this business!“
