The Cactus Cafe inside the health center smells terrible! They make breakfast and lunch sandwiches, but I’d avoid it if I were you. If you go, only get the snacks. They have a decent selection of chip brands and flavors.

So this place is kinda all over lol.3 stars for labs - I’d give labs a 3 stars. Typically 10 mins to an hour or more depending on the day you go. The issue is it’s next to Urgent care so there’s always some confusion of the line. The doors open up right into the check in. There is typically always a line. The person yelling your name is never loud enough so stay close cause they say it twice an then move on. They also bill separately from John Muir. The first time they took payment an then deducted my bill from it. You can decline payment an tell them to bill your insurance. It’s a really weird system. I had an appointment on Jan. 6. I was offered a free ride (probably for research on a possible future program.) Driver went to wrong house (NO gps?) - I followed him down the street and soon he saw me. Upon arrival he refused to take me to the usual safe drop-off. (I'm 92 and use cane or walker.) I knew the area and bought just my cane, but this drop-off terrain was not good just with a cane. I was afraid of falling. He said he could not take me to the normal drop-off. (Must have been a substitute and lacked a sticker.) If I had known, I would have brought a walker.
