“Dr. Bruce George gave me my eyesight back! I have had issues with my right eye now for about 6 years. I originally had surgery to correct a "retina wrinkle", then cataract surgery. At that time, vision was great but slowly began deteriorating. Saw another optometrist who sent me for an eye MRI and then to an ophthalmologist (different specialists because of insurance). That ophthalmologist suggested that maybe a tiny hole in my lens to let in more light might help and was asked if I wanted to try it. Originally I said yes but the more I thought about it the more it seemed questionable. Finally I decided at minimum I needed a new eye glass prescription. I could NOT even see the big "E" with my right eye! Dr. George encouraged me to get a special internal picture not paid for by my insurance which I did. He then pointed out the dark area in my eye and told me to "go to the ophthalmologist who did the cataract surgery and get a capsulotomy procedure with a YAG laser machine". (Original cataract ophthalmologist is not the same as the dude with the "tiny hole"- due to insurance changes). Dr George said it did not make sense to get glasses with my current issue till I got my eye fixed. I did go back and specifically asked for the YAG capsulotomy with Dr. Heather Chen. Dr. Chen used the picture from Dr. George so I did not have to pay for that again. The procedure was easy and worked great. I just went back for the prescription and my right eye is almost perfect. What a relief as I was very sad when I thought I was going blind in my right eye with no solution. Dr. George knows his stuff! Thank you Dr. Bruce George!“
