It was such an easy experience communicating with Ric (the owner) about my design idea and booking. When I got to the shop, Carla already had a few iterations of my design idea ready to go, but was also very open to suggestions, collaboration, etc.. It was an absolute pleasure working with her on the design and placement. Next step was the actual tattooing, and when I tell you this woman is a true pro, I really mean it. She has such a light touch with the tattoo gun, and her work is so precise, meticulous, and beautiful, you can really tell she cares deeply about every dot of ink she puts on the skin. I'll definitely be coming back to this shop for more tattoos in the future and could not recommend RicRoks Tattoos, or Carla, more highly.“

“I saw Anvil's booth at the Seaside Tattoo Expo in Ventura and was taken with Kathleen's work. I'd been kicking around an idea for months, but hadn't found someone I thought would do it well. I had an idea that combined realism, geometric abstraction, and watercolor techniques. I didn't have the design, but I had an idea and some examples showing different elements of what I wanted. Kathleen took it and ran with it, putting together a design even cooler than I imagined! This was my first tattoo and she made the process as effortless as possible.
