“I found NAMU acupuncture on Yelp last year while I had back pain while lifting up my niece. It was a Saturday and a lot of clinics were closed, but I was in so much pain and knew I had to get it treated immediately. Thankfully, I found NAMU acupuncture clinic while searching online and called to confirm they were open. The doctor picked up the phone himself and was able to fit me in, despite his busy schedule. Once I arrived, we discussed my injury and treatment plan. Dr. Choi does not rush you, unlike some other acupuncture clinics I've been to. He is a great listener and really takes time to understand your needs/issues/pain. In one session, I miraculously felt a lot better and was actually able to walk with a straight back. Dr. Choi told me to come back a few more times to finish my treatment, which I did, and my back was good to go! After my great experience with Dr. Choi at this clinic, I've started taking my mom and brother. My mom has chronic back pain/chest pain/arthritis/etc. so she has been going regularly. She's now a huge fan! (They also accept certain types of insurance, which is super helpful) My brother, who frequently has foot pain, has also been in and out of the clinic every time his foot pain comes back. I am now back and being treated for my severe wrist pain. While I don't go regularly like my mom, I know exactly where to go if I am ever in pain or injured :) It's really convenient for me as I can get treated with my mom at the same time in the same room! The clinic is clean and Dr. Choi is super friendly and always welcoming! I've been to several other acupunture clinics in Koreatown and cannot recommend any others except NAMU acupuncture clinic!! PARKING: There's a big parking lot (free) in the building with security and I've never had issues finding a spot.“

“Claire is masterful in her treatment and incredibly caring and intuitive. I had a swollen ankle that had started with a minor injury. I used crutches for 1.5 months, had an MRI and Xray. Was given go ahead by orthopedic doctor to walk and start physical therapy. With PT the ankle swelled again and I experienced discomfort with walking. I felt very discouraged. Found Reishi and during her intake questions happened to mention that I had ongoing loose stools that started around the same time. She connected the two as signs of too much dampness in my body and also recommended that I didn't eat cooling foods like yogurt and salads which I had been doing. In a couple treatments I had a dramatic turnaround. And she's a master with needles--I barely felt when she inserted them! So very grateful to have found her.“

“I first met them at my gym, F45, as they were giving free chiropractic mini sessions. Because of Dr. Durke's attentiveness to my neck pain needs, I decided to give them a try. I've been consistently seeing them for chiro as well as acupuncture for 2 months now and I'm noticing more improvement. Although they are out of network, I continue to see them because of the quality service. Would definitely recommend.“

“I have suffered from allergies and eczema for as long as I can remember. My day to day consisted of taking antihistamines and applying topical creams to manage my symptoms. As I got older I noticed my allergies and eczema getting worse, and every time, my doctors would only prescribe more antihistamines and stronger topical creams (stronger steroids, immunosuppressants). My breaking point occurred in 2022 when my eczema got so bad that it resulted in multiple visits to urgent care where I was prescribed strong oral steroids. However, every time the oral steroid prescription ended my symptoms would come back and they would be worse than before. I realized I had developed TSW (topical steroid withdrawal) from the years of steroid use and I decided to seek another option as western doctors continued to push more steroids on me. I began receiving treatment from Dr.Choi in October 2022 that consisted of acupuncture, herbal medicine and lifestyle changes. My initial TSW symptoms were so severe that I was unable to fully open my eyes, turn my neck or move my arms. I am now at the end stages of my treatment for TSW and I feel healthier than ever! I have learned eczema was only a symptom for other health issues in the body and by targeting and improving that, the eczema will no longer be an issue. Healing from TSW has been the hardest and most painful thing I have ever experienced. As the patient, it involves patience, time and commitment.
