“I've been seeing Rebecca now for a little over a year and it's hard to express how much she has changed my life and as a result my skin. Before seeing Rebecca I ​dealt​ with moderate to severe acne for a very long time. Beginning ​in my ​adolescence I had been through bouts of Accutane, topical prescription treatments, oral antibiotics and birth control. They seemed to manage my skin alright until I entered into my 30s when my acne came back with a vengeance. This time around I knew that I did not want to go back on medication and wanted to resolve this issue differently. Upon meeting Rebecca, first over the phone and then in person I had a sense of relief - ​someone that understood my struggle and a companion and support that would help me to achieve not just healthy skin, but an overall sense of health and wellness inside and out that would be ​​reflected in my skin. Through our sessions she educated me about my skin, and provide​d​ helpful and honest feedback that ​made me accountable to my regimen outside of our time together. At times, especially a few months ​after ​we had started, I would sometimes become disappointed that the progress was slow (I was impatient - I was seeing changes, but not as quickly as I wanted​ and I was ready to give up)​ ​yet ​she encourage​d​ me to stay with it​--​and ​now looking back, ​in the larger perspective of having dealt with troubled skin for a lifetime, this period of focused time and patient regeneration was ​so necessary. Gradually I began to see changes and through our work together--treatments, discussions, energy work, looking at my negative self-talk and patterns, lifestyle habits, etc. I can now say that I have clear skin. Even more so and more importantly that I am healthy :) I am grateful that Rebecca offered a holistic view of healing, and also helped me to understand that rather than my skin being a source of frustration or an adversary, it was truly just a messenger of what was going on inside both physically and mentally/emotionally.
