I was pretty nervous as this was my first time with this procedure and she assured me it would be easy. She was right! Once the lidocaine kicked in, she got to work and 95% of the time it just felt like a tingling or buzzing on my lips. A couple spots were more tender, and she always gave me a heads-up or more lidocaine when working on those areas.
