“This review is for Emily. She has been cutting my hair for years since she worked at Chadbournes in Fairfield. I followed her when she began cutting hair at the Beauty Box. Emily was referred to me by a friend. Emily is a great stylist. She keeps up with trends, is friendly, and is very talented. If you ask her if a style will look good, she is honest and supportive of trying new things. She will tell you if something is not a great fit if you don't want to change your routine or if its's not flattering. Her prices are reasonable and her customer service is great. As for the actual salon, it's very clean. They have some upgraded amenities to make your time there feel elevated but never snooty. The stylists and other pros have a nice rapport. Very welcoming establishment. Emily and the cute salon vibe make driving 25 miles to my haircut worth it.“

“I visited a higher rated one in Vacaville before and the quality was so bad. It looked messy and my fingers hurt days later. I realized the charismatic owner was charming the customers into giving 5 stars. But i hadn’t had an acrylic manicure in so long, I thought maybe my expectations were unreasonable. I came here for the fill in/nail fix. it was done with so much care and precision. Mindy took her time. It never hurt. And even as it grew out, it still looks neat. Not messy like the other one. I don’t live in Vacaville but whenever i go back, i still definitely come here.“
