“Today was my son’s first visit with Bo at The Merchant Barbershop. We were recommended by another member of our community. The barbershop had great style, good music, and Bo gave my son an amazing haircut. We definitely look forward to going back again.“

“My first time there. Just'a walk-in, not knowing what to expect. I was greeted right away and I asked for a simple beard trim. I was seated within a minute. I was done in about 15 minutes, exactly what I wanted and it was fairly priced, too. Good bunch'a guys. Cool shop.

The level of trust that I have in Rudy is beyond compare - but he has earned it. He listens to what my son wants and, if he is unsure of the direction, he asks questions to clarify. He is personable and good-natured and delivers a high quality cut each and every time. My son is almost 11 and it has gotten to the point that they don't even need me around anymore, other than to pay! They communicate that well with each other. “I take my boys here and they like it. We are always walk-ins and they are able to accommodate us immediately or within 10/15 minutes.

We don't see one particular barber and we're able to get exactly what we want. Consistent across board, except once, but that was my fault for giving only verbal instructions and no picture. I don't know the lingo like my partner does so... live and learn. Still great haircuts regardless.

Their is a barber there that opens up the shop early on Wednesdays, SO convenient! I love it because I can get so much done in the morning and not have to wait for the shop to open up in the later part of the morning. He's also my favorite barber to cut the boys hair too.“

“Here visiting family in Vacaville and forgot my undercut needed a touch up. Strolled into Above Ground Society as a walk-in and was warmly greeted by Cesar. While the shop was clearly busy with faithful clients, he was able to fit me in for a quick undercut touch up—on a weekend for that matter! He was quick but efficient and even suggested a tapered touch up which turned out sharp and clean. I was blown away by the friendliness, accommodation, and the fresh cut—highly highly recommend!“

“Josh cut my grandson's hair. Josh listened intently to what he wanted his hair to look like, then he got to work. The cut took about 40 minutes and my grandson was pleased with the results. The shop was clean with great colors on the walls. It felt welcoming and there was plenty of seating for patrons to wait comfortably. Parking was a bit of a challenge due to so many other busy businesses nearby. Arrive early so you can have enough time to park.“
