My 14 year (15 in a week) old cat was diagnosed with grade 3 cancer by her veterinarian after she had surgery for two large masses (removed & biopsied). Our vet referred us to Veterinary Cancer Group. I met with the doctor (can't recall her name) she went over all the options of care and was very clear that any opinion we went with was not going to cure the cancer but maybe give her a few more months. I was upfront with my budget and the doctor was very understanding. She even recommended I do the blood work with our vet since the price was a little less. Dr. Koo and Shay, such incredible individuals who supported us while our cat Froggy was diagnosed with an inoperable oral tumor. We primarily saw Dr Saad at their Tustin location but spent many visits in the South Bay as well. Dr Koo was incredibly knowledgeable and spent several hours with us discussing our options. She was also the person who helped us cross our cat when it was time. She brought us great comfort and care in that moment. Can't say enough good things about Shay who works on the administrative side. She truly loved our cat Froggy. Just an incredibly warm thoughtful human.
