About Beach Animal Rehabilitation
Beach Animal Rehabilitation Center (BARC) is a veterinary clinic that specializes in rehabilitation for cats and dogs, serving the South Bay, Los Angeles, and Orange County. They have a team of certified, caring, and highly qualified veterinarians and physical therapists who use treatments such as hydrotherapy, acupuncture, laser, therapeutic ultrasound, manual therapies, and other state-of-the-art technologies to provide pain relief, aid in recovery, and improve functional mobility. The team at BARC is commended for their exceptional care and compassion. One customer's senior French Bulldog, Kirby, received preventative physical therapy and acupuncture sessions, which the owner believes helped Kirby bounce back after an IVDD flare-up. The staff is described as perceptive to Kirby's needs as they evolved and creating a positive environment. Another customer's miniature dachshund, Abbye Lane, was told she was paralyzed after spinal surgery. The owners were devastated but found BARC and are forever grateful. They mention Dr. Amy, Erin, and Jess, who worked with Abbye, and note that she is now standing on her own and starting to walk, which they consider a miracle. A third customer's dog, Romeo, faced severe spinal issues and underwent surgeries and complex treatments. Despite numerous setbacks, including medicine-induced Cushing's and paralysis, Romeo made significant progress under the care of Dr. Amy Kramer. The customer praises Dr. Kramer's dedication, expertise, and support throughout the years and considers Romeo's recovery a testament to the center's holistic approach and commitment to providing top-notch care. BARC's team is recognized for their encouragement, support, and belief in the potential for recovery during challenging times. The customer's advice to anyone facing similar challenges with their pets is to seek support from professionals who genuinely care, like the team at BARC. The customer expresses gratitude for the team's commitment, expertise, and compassionate approach, which have made a significant difference in their lives.
We were told that our miniature dachshund, Abbye Lane, was paralyzed after spinal surgery. We were devastated to say the least. We researched animal rehabilitation on line and found BARC. We are forever grateful! All staff, including front office, are so compassionate…and knowledgeable. We want to particularly mention Dr. Amy, Erin and Jess who worked with Abbye. She is now standing on her own and starting to walk. It’s a miracle. Thank you BARC!
