I’ve trusted Bay Cities Pet Hospital for over 30 years. This is the first time since I was a little girl that I don’t have a dog, and that alone says how big a role they’ve played in my life.
Dr. Rios has always been my first choice — personable, compassionate, and truly invested in her patients. The appointment-only system now makes visits much smoother, with less waiting and easier parking, which matters when you’re already stressed.
When my boy Jake was battling kidney disease, the care and kindness from the entire team meant everything. Sarah, the office manager, was wonderful in helping manage his visits and fluids. Stephanie was incredibly patient and kind — teaching me how to give fluids at home during a very stressful visit (Jake wasn’t thrilled, but she handled it with such calm and care). Jake ended up trusting the process as time went on. Emily and Christina were also amazing — always warm and genuinely compassionate.
Losing Jake was heartbreaking, but knowing he was treated with love and care made a difference. When I’m ready to adopt again — and I will — this is the only place I’ll go.
