Where do I even begin? I was 15 years old when I joined the Tae Ryong family, and I'm 25 now. I've been doing taekwondo for 10 years, and I wouldn't change a single thing about it. I joined because I wanted something to do, and I didn't have many friends who lived near me. I have to say that was the best decision I made. This studio is like a second home to me. I'm Korean and taekwondo is my country's native sport. When I first moved to ventura county, I was on the look out for the best taekwondo school. I'm not easy to please, but Taeryong taekwondo school was the best school by far. They are one of the only schools that teach proper technique, poomsae(taeguek), sparring, philosophy and much more. Also, taeryong has been around the longest with 40 plus years in business and they have several school under the same name in different locations. My kids have been going here for over a year and just earned their Blue belt. The instructors are wonderful, funny, genuinely care about the well-beings and growth of all their students. Highly recommend the studio! Master Moore and Master Lopez are the best!
