I personally have watched Ed cooks guys work, and know from what Iv heard their employees have told me, that Ed cooks tree service is truley the #1 tree service in South Lake Tahoe. his guys work on time, and efficiently and overall a generally positive experience through and through with a high setting standard for everyone else to strive towards. Im leaving this reveiw quite simply because Im having an issue with my tree service, and Im going to his reveiws simply to show an employee what people have to say about a truley professional tree service and what it is that makes a good tree service stand out from the rest. I'm giving this Tree Service a 4 star rating for now, based on my experience and contact Jon, who helps with the Snow Removal Services Department (Zelmer Snow Removal). Jon seems to be very knowledgeable about their work/business and very friendly (returning calls on a timely manner). My neighbor used this Snow Removal Service the past two years and based on this company's work I would give them 5 Stars. I'm reserving that 5th star until I actually see their work on my driveway, I'm sure they won't let me down, they seem very professional. "Let it snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow"

Today I was shoveling the remnants of the storm from our driveway and one of Ed Cook's employees was just arriving to plow our neighbor's drive across the street. I waved and he waved back and then unprompted proceeded to knock down and remove the snow plow berm on our driveway which I would not have been able to remove since it was almost solid ice. This took about 2 minutes and saved me 2 hours of struggle. He gave a thumbs up, plowed the driveway across the street and disappeared. This is just plain courteous, nice and something that is rare in this world today. Ed, if you are reading this please don't fire the dude for unpaid work, give him a promotion and a raise!...read full review
