About Sierra Vista Urgent Care
Sierra Vista Urgent Care is a medical facility that provides prompt and attentive care to its patients. The staff is described as incredibly friendly and the doctors, such as Dr. Maryam Atashbar and Dr. Hook, are praised for their positive attitudes and thorough examinations. Patients appreciate the clinic's ability to accommodate last-minute visits and the overall high-quality service they receive. While some acknowledge longer wait times, particularly during peak illness periods, they understand the challenges faced by a Medi-Cal-focused facility with limited resources. The clinic is commended for its cleanliness, maintenance, and efforts to prevent the spread of illnesses. Overall, Sierra Vista Urgent Care is highly recommended as a reliable and caring medical provider.
I was at the urgent care today for some issues that were bothering me a couple weeks . Dr Maryam atashbar visit me and with positive attitude and explain to me everything and did some test to find out my issue. I am very happy with this visit and thank you to all the clinical staff.
INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY STAFF. DR. HOOK WAS WONDERFUL! THEY SQUEEZED ME IN AT THE LAST MINUTE. WONDERFUL SERVICE. I VERY MUCH HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MEDICAL FACILITY. BEST OPERATION IN ALL OF VENTURA COUNTY. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
For a "Medi-Cal" -patient focused facility its pretty nice to have an urgent care available instead of going to the ER. While I understand some get frustrated with the long wait times during peak illness weeks, they need to also understand that this is a Medi-Cal office....meaning they don't have the budget other offices do to be able to facilitate more staff to accommodate the onslaught of patients that come in when there is only one doctor on-call at the urgent care. Even if you don't think anyone is there when you don't see anyone in the waiting room, they could have patients in the exam rooms with the physician meeting & examining each patient one at a time. You wouldn't want the doctor to rush through yours or your child's exam would you? This is why it takes a long time. Give the staff a break, they're underpaid & overwhelmed. They don't get paid much by state insurance. Patients that have better insurance wouldn't be going here anyway. You're all in the same boat....its a nice and clean facility that is well maintained and the staff really does do their best to try not to spread viruses & illnesses that walk through the door. Have some patience & have a wonderful day!
