I've been 5 years sober. I have had really good counselors and counselors that were okay. I have dealt with mostly good people That work in the front office, there's a new one that's been there for several months that doesn't really seem to get me or understand me, and I don't really seem to get along with her. She's kind of judgmental and puts her nose in places that don't belong when it's not her call or her business, it's really unfortunate, because I would think that she would try to understand people that are going through this program due to the trauma that brought me here because of the trauma, I would numb myself by using...

I’ve been a patient at Aegis Treatment Center for several years and Im always surprised to see how positive and friendly they are. Working with people in recovery can’t be easy, yet the staff continues to show up every day with the same positive attitude and willingness to help. After several years at Aegis, that consistency is something I’ve come to genuinely appreciate.
The program helps make withdrawals more manageable while giving you the time and stability to move beyond the vice that brought you there. Just as importantly, it helps you work through the mental side of recovery, which can often be the biggest challenge.
So grateful to everyone here. They helped me get my husband back. Stephanie, Chelsea, Skye, Whitney, and everyone else has been superb in the service they provided him. Thank you from the bottom of my heart... I have my husband back and my children have their father. They helped him believe in himself again. <3
