“I travel often and needed a quick alteration for a gifted dress I planned to wear to a black-tie wedding. I came to LIMPAH Cleaners on 2nd Street after seeing their great reviews, and Kenny kindly agreed to let the dress out before my flight. When I came back, there had been a misunderstanding, the dress was taken in instead and no longer fit. My heart sank, as this was my only dress and I was leaving that night.

Instead of just apologizing, Kenny and his wife went above and beyond. Late on a Friday evening, they fixed the alteration and personally drove the dress to my home at 8 p.m. so I’d have it before my red-eye. Yes, there was an inconvenience and a mistake, but what mattered most is that they made it right, and that kind of integrity speaks volumes.

I’m so grateful to Kenny and his wife for turning a stressful moment into an incredible act of service. I will definitely be bringing them my future business, because this is exactly the kind of local business worth supporting. “Excellent service and great people! I took two gowns to the store. One was stained and the other had sweat marks because I danced the night away at my cousins wedding. Both dressed cleaned and retuned to me in pristine condition, no smell of chemicals, and with no stains on them! The guys there were very honest and told me they weren’t sure if the stains would come out and I really appreciated their honesty. “I wish I could give 10 stars. I had a beautiful (and expensive) skirt that was the victim of a HUGE spill at a wedding 1 yr ago (a mix of beer/wine/the works). I brought it to 3 different cleaners over the past year, but no one was able to get the stains out. I even had one place take the pleats out to clean it and repleat it but the stains didn’t budge. Harbour cleaners was my last stop before the dumpster, but they miraculously removed ALL of the stains and my skirt looks brand new!! Everyone there is also super friendly. Highly recommend.“

“Prices may differ depending on your item but this was my experience: I had 2 sports equipment bags with zippers that were off the track & could not zip. Both relatively new, so $20 each was a no hesitation win! My 3rd item was a king size blanket that was $30 to clean. I hadn't shopped around on prices and I don't have the patience to wait at a manual laundromat. I was only hesitant because the blanket was only $50 on sale to begin with; but I digress. The owner was very nice and this cleaner came highly recommended on the neighborhood pages, so I trust the prices are reasonable. They did a great job on it & it was returned cleaned & folded with double hangers. Another review had commented they will not call when it is done; which is true. They'll tell you the pick up date when you drop your items off. Just make a reminder in your phone. :) I had tucked my claim ticket into my wallet but they can also pull up your order by phone number if you lose / forget it. Highly recommend! Will definitely return again.“
