“Just got my very first tattoo from Tim at Still Life Tattoo in Seal Beach and it is Amazing!! I was fairly nervous, since it was my first time, but Tim made it an unbelievably great experience. He is extremely professional, patient, safe and his shop is a super clean environment. I came in with a drawing, and a pretty good idea of what I wanted, and he made it even better. It is a very personal tattoo, and I am so happy that Tim took the time to talk to me about it and show me different ideas, because it turned out even better than I expected. Since I am going to have this for life, he was the perfect person for this occasion.

Most of all he is incredibly nice and a great guy. I will be back to see Tim again for sure!!! A+++“

“I recently did a guest spot at this shop, and what an incredible experience! The shop manager, Matt, went above and beyond to get me fully set up before I even walked in the door. Literally all I needed to bring was my machine, needles, and ink — they provided everything else and were incredibly accommodating. They even welcomed my client (who arrived way before I did) and had him all set up with paperwork and ready to go by the time I got there.

“I had an amazing experience training with Simon during his 2-day tattoo course. I came in with absolutely no prior knowledge of tattooing, and he did an incredible job breaking everything down in a way that was easy to understand.

Day 1 focused on lining and Day 2 on shading, and both days were very informative and in-depth. Simon is extremely knowledgeable and patient, and he really takes the time to make sure you feel comfortable and confident with each step.

Him and his daughter were both so welcoming and kind, which made the whole experience even better. The environment felt very supportive, especially as a beginner.
