I walked into this shop for the first time to ask if they would fix it for me. Since they didn't know me, I fully expected to be told that I would have leave my shoes there for a week. Instead, the nice wife said, "Okay, 5 minutes." And 5 minutes later, the nice husband handed me back the shoe, which now looked perfect. When I thanked him and asked him how much I owed him, he said, "No charge." I was speechless. I left them a tip, but still . . . This kind of generosity is so very rare these days, I was very touched. Thank you to the kind owners! I'm bringing all my shoes here from now on.“

Through all the changing denim trends, various formal wear for weddings and parties, and those incredible second-hand clothing finds that need to be tweaked to fit, they do it all. I just took two pairs of wide leg jeans to be hemmed -- they can mimic the "original hem" which if you are shorter than 5' 9'', you know that's so much of the charm of the pant. If you lose that, your jeans look like you sewed them yourself. Go to the professionals.PS -- They actually have very good hours of operation, for the record. They are open during the week, and you can easily call and make an appointment to fit your schedule.“
