“Marco's Art of Hair salon is a hair salon I have been going to for many years. I have my hair colored and cut there and wouldn't go anywhere else. The salon is clean and nicely decorated. Marco is a perfectionist who listens to what you would like to have done as well as make helpful suggestions.“

On the day of my City Hall wedding, she put me at ease and made me look like an elevated version of myself. I went for a natural look, but wanted it to pop a bit for photography. She gave me exactly what I wanted for hair + makeup, and it lasted well throughout the day :) She is also really efficient - the total time was a little less than 1.5 hours. As someone who doesn’t love spending too much time getting ready, this was perfect for me. Lol. if you’re thinking about booking her, do it!“

Right away all of the friendly professionals at Ash Hair made me feel so welcome. Walls covered in celebrity photos, show tunes on the speakers, in a former apartment overlooking Castro Street.Ross, the owner does my hair. He's such a nice guy, and if you ask, has a lot of stories from San Francisco past. Just to manage expectations, this isn't a fancy place with a receptionist, products for sale, sleek interior. Rather, it's like going to someone's home, decorative clutter and all.In return, the price is crazy reasonable. Cash only.“
