“Well worth the long drive to SD. The booking process was smooth and quick, Rosette provided all the information I needed and helped coordinate a date that worked best for my schedule. Walking in I didn't know what to expect, but the vibe was comforting for my first tattoo. My artist was Kendall, and I highly recommend him to anyone getting a tattoo. After showing a few reference photos and giving him a general idea of what I was going for, he freehanded the whole design and made sure to incorporate all the aspects I wished. The actual tattoo process was smooth as well; he didn't mind if I needed to take any breaks throughout and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole time. He made sure I was aware if he was about to work on a more sensitive area, and the process felt quick without the work looking rushed. I recommend bringing some headphones and a phone charger as well as some snacks, water &/or Gatorade to keep your blood sugar high. He was very patient with getting the placement just right to cover a scar that I wanted to hide and the tattoo is true to the reference. If you want a manga or anime tattoo artist who appreciates fine line art work and who has great attention to detail, look no further! Nikki was also very easy to schedule with and has a cool vibe. This is my first tattoo and it was a great experience! Also, Yokai House as a tattoo shop overall is very clean and has awesome murals. All the reviews are 5 stars for these ladies, and let me tell you, they know what they are doing at this place. They are located off of Mission Gorge right next time, explicit fitness, super easy to find, and good parking situation. The online booking process was easy, as well as filling out the forms for the appointment and scheduling the appointment. When first walking in the door, I was greeted promptly by Ms Tori herself. She was very welcoming and sweet. The place was clean, and there were air-conditioning and comfy seats as well as a bathroom to use. Tori went over what to expect during my procedure, how she was going to line my brows, what to expect after she was done to the aftercare. She was very thorough. She made me feel comfortable during my visit, checking on me, and making sure my brows were on point and what I wanted. She really delivered and to perfection right down to the color. I'm so happy I went to this wonderful artist. If you want your brows done or any other services they offer, like blush for lips and eyeliner, this is the jam.
