Premier Surgery Center of Santa Maria is a friendly and caring facility with excellent staff. Patients appreciate the courteous, thorough, and responsive team that makes them feel comfortable and relaxed before, during, and after minor surgeries. Dr. Amir is highly regarded for his expertise and the clinic provides great pre-op, operative, and follow-up care. Appointments are on time, and the staff addresses concerns promptly. The center is known for its outstanding care, though it currently lacks a free EVSE for clients’ convenience.
I am completely satisfied with my recent cataract removal procedure at Premiere Surgical Center. I have the utmost confidence and trust in my excellent doctor who performed my left eye cataract removal surgery, Dr. Craig Merrill, MD, Opthalmologist/Surgeon. I have been seen by him for many years, following up on possible glaucoma and diagnosing my Migraine with Aura. I am happy to say that I follow Dr. Merrill's orders to get more sleep as a Migraine with Aura remedy, with a total remission of my symptoms. A great cure for me that took effect quickly!
The surgery was an excellent experiance. The billing though, was not. They refused to honor their agreement with my insurance provider, charging me double what my insurance company said I owed as a co-payment. After 6 phone calls and then having my insurance company call them they agreed to the original terms and dropped the additional $35 charge. About 2 hours of time that I'll never get back.
