He is pragmatic and realistic but also willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done right. He was able to anticipate problems and always had a clear and well organized schedule and order of operations, and good planning really made a project like this much more tolerable. Whenever there were snags, which are inevitable in construction, he made a clear path forward without compromising quality. It's clear that over the years he has collected some of the best direct employees as well as subcontractors. Shout out to Joaquin and Miguel, who not only did excellent work for things like demo, framing, and finishing touches, but every night they would always take the time to vacuum and wash the hallway to our bathroom so we could still live in a clean house for the duration of the project. I have a pretty critical eye, and could tell from the start that Alon did too, which was confirmed as he would often see the same things I did, so I rarely needed to even mention little things that needed to be perfected.
