Searching for a casket is not something ANYONE wants to do. Faced with the impossible task, we set out after not being comfortable with the prices and zero lack of selection at the funeral home. Picking something so personal from a photo in a binder did mot set well for my MIL. Bruce, who I found on Yelp responded immediately to my query for an appointment. He was patient, informative and willing to spend the time walking us through the process. His prices are super competitive , selection wide and he delivers on all his promises. While I hope to never have to patronize the Casket Outlet again I will recommend it highly to anyone who finds the need.
I came to Bruce in hopes of finding a casket for my mom because the mortuary (Lima) that my mom was going to have her viewing and burial services in told me last minute that my mom might not be able to fit in a regular sized casket, and may need an oversized one. I called Bruce the night that I found out the news. Since they're open 247, I was able to speak with him via phone call. He was very understanding, caring, and accommodating. We made an appointment to meet in person the following day. Once I got to the location, it was a bit difficult to find the parking, since there were several businesses located in the same area. Definitely pay attention and look for the #4, so you know which parking spots you can park in.After I parked and texted Bruce that I was there, he immediately went outside to introduce himself and opened the garage for us.He had several caskets opened to show us, including the original casket that I chose for my mom. When comparing the prices of the caskets he had with the one Lima Mortuary had, there was such a huge discounted difference. It's crazy because it's the same casket. For reference, Lima was charging us $2,195, and Bruce was charging around $1,400. That's almost an $800 difference. In the end, I chose the one from the mortuary due to time restraint and the fact that I wanted a specific casket that had white exterior interior. If I had known earlier that I would have had an issue with my mom's sizing, I would have 100% gone to Casket Outlet at the beginning of my mom's viewing and funeral preparations. I definitely recommend that you go to this business if you are in need of good quality caskets with discounted prices.
