Five stars is simply NOT enough. Captain Gary and his boat, the Asante, made a very difficult day for me, extremely memorable and delightful! Highly professional and respectful of my husband's cremains, he created a gorgeous floral arrangement around my husband's ashes, and assisted me in lowering them to his final resting place - the ocean - for eternal rest. He makes a stop to greet the seals, all of which have different markings, and gives an interesting talk about them, and notes that their area is protected. You are able to bring on board a charcuterie, or nibble foods for guests (please provide your own napkins and plastic ware for doing so) and music (Bluetooth)...read full review
My father was an outdoorsy guy who loved being on the water. When he passed, my family and I wanted to spread his remains at sea on his birthday. After speaking with Captain Gary, I chose Burial at Sea because he really took the time to explain the process and answered my questions in a caring manner. Captain Gary and Terri were so professional and compassionate! Terri made a beautiful display for my father’s remains with many flowers. We take great pride in our service and offer a guarantee that if your not satisfied, you don’t pay. In fact, we never have, nor ever will, collect before your service. Payment is only due at conclusion of service and we are back at dock. We are also primary subcontractors for two other service providers and have excellent relationships with them, averaging 10 plus services a month for them.
