I’ve had good haircuts and bang trims with Edward, so this is purely based on my cut with Allen. I asked for layers and to take about 2” of length off. I’m not sure if I caught him on a bad day, but this is one of the poorer hair experiences I’ve ever had.

1. The entire wash, cut, and dry took 30 minutes exactly. The appointment slot is for 1 hour per the booking page, so it felt incredibly rushed. I paid $93 after tip for a haircut that I still need to clean up myself at home. I’m happy with the back, but the bangs are pretty terrible.

2. There was zero communication during the cut asking if I was ok with the length, layers, etc. He didn’t ask where I wanted my part or center it before cutting, which seems like the bare minimum.

3. At the end, I asked for my bangs to be shortened from chin to about cheekbone length, blended with the rest of the hair. I got a blunt chop with the edge all different lengths. I asked for the ends to be blended better and was told “this is layers” and “this looks more natural” as if I’ve never gotten a haircut before. I went back to get it fixed immediately, but I’m still unhappy.“

“She’s nice and patient, I took the girl I take care of (she’s like my little sister) for a hair cut, she had big tangle in her hair and this Lady help us untangling her hair, she really try to fixed and cutting was her last option.
Her prices are reasonable.“

She is a very excellent hairstylist. She will explain everything you need to know about hair care and maintenance. She is also very experienced in cutting your hair into a style of your choice. The shop is clean and they have a nail bar in the shop as well which is excellent! The salon is in an excellent location which makes it cool if you need to pick up a few things at the grocery store or you just want a . I definitely will be back.“

“This review is for Lyn. I had been going to salons recommended by friends in San Francisco, Santa Clara and some in between for the last couple years. Every time I showed the hair dresser how I wanted my hair style to look on my phone. They glanced at it and cut my hair the way they wanted/knew how. I could usually tell where things went wrong (when they started cutting my hair horizontally), but I was half way thru the cut already and had to console myself that I could look for a new salon next time. My search can stop now (sigh of relief). Yesterday Lyn gave me a cut I was finally happy with! She asked to see the look on my phone half way thru the hair cut, trying to ensure she gave me the result I wanted. And she succeeded. She seems very experienced with my straight coarse hair, saying she would trim it just so to give it movement. And she succeeded again! Thanks again, Lyn!“

“Allen T. was very professional and on time for Bob style hair cuts twice now. We were in total communications. The Semi-perm hair coloring I had in between the 2 hair cuts could be improved though. I thought Allen was suppose to ask me what color I wanted first. Instead, he chose a semi-perm hair color that was, as it turned out, right for me. The location was good for me and the place was clean & spacious. The hair cuts, especially the 2nd one, were the right length for me & the sideway bangs allowed me to dry without pins or hairspray to hold in place! Love that!“
