About San Francisco Marriott Union Square
The San Francisco Marriott Union Square offers a great location for exploring downtown San Francisco, with convenient access to the convention center. The hotel provides the usual Marriott quality of lodging and services, and is highly recommended. Guests enjoy magnificent views and a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The service is excellent, from the friendly and helpful bellboys to the reception, and even passing managers. The concierge staff, such as Jeff, provide exceptional assistance, a warm, affectionate, caring spirit, and attention to detail. The hotel is very clean, though some guests suggest a better job of cleaning is needed in the rooms. It is a good location, close to bars and restaurants, and feels very safe.
I’ve stayed here a bunch when I’m in the Bay Area.

Fernando the doorman is top notch! We’re now on first names and he greets me warmly every time!!
The only thing I don’t like about the hotel is they change 18% for me to carry my own pizza or burger to my room. I get it, if it was room service. But nope…I do the work and I get charged.
The club lounge is awesome and has a good selection of snacks and food items.

Had a wonderful 3-day stay at Marriott San Francisco. The property is absolutely beautiful, with modern rooms, great amenities, and an amazing atmosphere throughout. The location is perfect for exploring the city, and the overall hospitality was exceptional.
The staff was professional, courteous, and always ready to help, making the entire experience smooth and memorable. From check-in to check-out, everything was handled perfectly.

Came here for an all day conference. The Marriott, regardless of location always provides top-notch customer service! I had an excellent experience at the 12 hour meeting. Catering was excellent, wait staff provides stellar service- great experience overall!
