I stayed here for two nights on a work trip during a major conference. I thought they handled the volume of people around the hotel very well, and my room was exactly what I needed; clean with lots of outlets. I had no issues checking in or out. Special mention of the front desk woman (I think her name was Rosanna) who recognized me when I was checking out from when I checked in days prior and remembered specific details about me. She was so nice

I've stayed here before and the rooms have been updated since. The rooms were ok regular standard rooms. The view wasn't great but we were just in town for the night. We had a view of trash and other roof decks. If you want a better view I guess pay or request for one. The fees make this about a 300 dollar a night for a standard room including parking and resort fees. If you do not pay for valet which is an additional 91 dollars you have to find public parking. There are cafes and restaurants within the hotel but are very pricey also. They do have a nice bar on the top floor that on a non rainy day has a nice view. My recent stay at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis was a blend of good, and disappointing experiences. Starting with the positives, the hotel's location is undoubtedly its strongest suit. Nestled in a prime area, it is conveniently close to many attractions and is easily recognizable and accessible. The comfort of the beds and the cleanliness of the restrooms were notable highlights, ensuring a comfortable stay. The TVs in the rooms, being smart TVs, added a modern touch, although I encountered difficulties connecting my tablet, despite the feature being advertised.
