About San Francisco Marriott Union Square
The San Francisco Marriott Union Square offers a great location for exploring downtown San Francisco, with convenient access to the convention center. The hotel provides the usual Marriott quality of lodging and services, and is highly recommended. Guests enjoy magnificent views and a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The service is excellent, from the friendly and helpful bellboys to the reception, and even passing managers. The concierge staff, such as Jeff, provide exceptional assistance, a warm, affectionate, caring spirit, and attention to detail. The hotel is very clean, though some guests suggest a better job of cleaning is needed in the rooms. It is a good location, close to bars and restaurants, and feels very safe.
Nice hotel. The bellboys were very friendly and helpful. Security standing in front of door. Good location for my first time in the city. Close to bars and restaurants, Walgreens is across the street. Felt very safe!
The rooms here at this Marriott is a better than the most Marriott hotels I’ve been to. Spacious room with decent interior! We just didn’t enjoy the weak water pressure, showerdoor sliding while taking shower, hairs in the drawers (not just one but in several drawers) and dusty tables. Need to do a better job of cleaning. Otherwise, satisfied with my stay!
Highly suggest you get your own coffee unless you drink it with sugar and milk.
Our stay was wonderful despite the fact that our room wasn't ready until after 5pm. The manager was very accommodating and provide club passes. Now let's talk about how AWESOME JEFF in concierge made our stay even more enjoyable. His warm, affectionate, caring spirit was a delight!!! He greeted us every day and remembered our names. Jeff spoke positive words to my son. My son was very impressed by his attention to detail. He informed us of the marathon that we were unaware of, thanks to him we were able to avoid it in our early morning travel. Jeff is the heart and soul of Marriot!!! Wrong location....this was meant for the Westin Marriot Union Square
