“I have been sending my mini goldendoodle to Tefani & So. for almost a year now, and I truly cannot recommend Tefani enough.

I first connected with the Tefani team to board my mini goldendoodle when he was just six months old. It was my first time being away from him, and I had a lot of concerns and anxiety about being apart from him for such an extended period. The Tefani team went above and beyond to address all of my concerns and put my mind at ease. Throughout my time away, they consistently kept me updated on my dog’s wellbeing, behavior, demeanor, and activities through texts, photos, and videos. Communications from the Tefani staff made the boarding experience incredibly reassuring.

I especially appreciate that the “boarding” experience at Tefani & So. is vastly different from what is typically offered at other dog-care facilities. During the day, dogs enjoy time with the daycare group, and in the evening, they go home with a Tefani team member and spend the night in a home environment. I felt confident knowing my pup was receiving plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout his stay.

My initial boarding experience was so wonderful that my dog is now a Tefani daycare and grooming regular. He is always so excited when I drop him off, which says everything! I also love how selective Tefani & So. is about the dogs and families they work with. Through Tefani, I’ve even had the opportunity to make wonderful connections with other
fur parents.

While I’m not a frequent user of Tefani’s shuttle service, I have used it on several occasions, and they have always done a wonderful job safely transporting my little guy to and from home.

Without a doubt, if my dog could write his own review of Tefani & So., he would have many more positive things to share. Tefani & So. has truly become his second home.“

“We couldn’t be happier with Embarkadero! Loki had a four-night stay, and they went above and beyond. He came home smelling great, likely thanks to gentle dry shampoo or scent. They even gave us grooming advice and might have brushed his teeth! The staff truly adored him, and we felt completely at ease. Five stars—Loki will definitely be back!“

“When we adopted our Chihuahua mix Mingus he had a real chip on his shoulder and was practically feral adn very aggressive to strangers and all dogs. He couldnt walk properly on the leash, be he was too busy barking and lunging at all dogs, looking for a fight around every corner. Me and my husband could not agree on training tactics and we feared we would never be able to have visitors over again after he bit my mother in law.

After doing Dan's 5 week training program, Mingus is a new dog. He's calmer, and more secure in himself. He can walk on a leash, barks less at other dogs, and actually has boundaries that he can follow. Me and my husband all know the same training commands which helped our arguments about Mingus to subside.

After we had our first child, Dan was kind enough to come to our house for a free at home training session to help strategize on how to get Mingus acclimated as we feared his aggression would flare up again with our new baby. Luckily this has never happened bc Mingus is truly a completely different/better dog bc of Dan's services.“

“David has taken care of our two cats for 15 years now and we couldn’t be happier. Not only he takes good care of the kitties and sends us videos of them when we are gone, but he has been know to take care of unexpected problems a few times while we were gone. We recommend him whole heartedly.“
