“I feel so grateful to have found Embarkadero Social Club when I did almost a year ago! I had only rescued Brisket 6 months prior (he was 2 years old and had room to grow with socialization), and was a first time dog owner, so it was a challenging experience getting him trained to the point where he was socialized well enough for day care. The Embarkadero staff were so patient and nurturing with me in my journey of getting him into a daycare (they were the 3rd one I tried), and I've been so happy with the experience over the past year. Brisket has become noticeable more comfortable and social with other dogs, and he always looks so happy whenever I pick him up and drop him off.The staff (especially Bonnie and Diego) put their heart and sweat into making the experience as nurturing and enriching for the dogs, and I think they truly treat them as if they were theirs. They work tirelessly and truly are the value add for the business. A couple things to keep in mind are that they are very strict about pickup timing, it has to be before 12pm for boarding and 7pm for daycare.I would recommend Embarkadero Social Club to anyone wanting their dog to have a very enriching social experience filled with love from the staff.“

“Mike is fantastic! He works with our 1.5yr black GSD who is beyond energetic and a little psycho with strangers. The first time they met, she kept barking at him and he was completely unphased. He knew exactly how to handle and behave around her to get her more comfortable. The first 2 times he picked her up, she was a little wary. However, by the third time she knew what was up and looked forward to going with him. We love Mike because he took his time to talk to us and the patience he showed Nezzy. Not only does his walks help with her energy management, but she has also become so much better overall. At the park, her recall has improved significantly. On the walks, she's not as reactive anymore. Mike is hard working, no nonsense, and dedicated to his craft.“

“We started taking our dog Capri to Tefani & So Dogcare for daycare about 9 months ago and couldn’t be happier. Stefani and her team are always very friendly, informative, and helpful. They are great about keeping us informed on how Capri’s day went, and anything that we should know. Capri has so much fun every time she goes and is always so excited to see Stefani and her staff! We have also left Capri with Stefani overnight for a long weekend when we went out of town, and it made us feel at ease knowing our dog was in a safe place where we know she has so much fun! They also send picture updates every day, and some of the best pictures we have of Capri are from Stefani while she is at daycare! We feel so lucky to have found this place!“

“The entire staff at DPT is incredible. I would recommend highly to anyone with a new dog.I adopted a 7 lb chihuahua mix around 4 months ago. When I brought him home he was scared of everything and couldn't walk on a leash or go up and down stairs. After about 24 hours I was convinced I had ruined my life and found DPT online. Natasha was on the phone with me as soon as I sent an email and she enrolled my dog in Dan Camp the same day.When I returned two weeks later I was amazed at the progress the trainer had made. My dog was walking (perfectly) on a leash and going up and down stairs like a pro. Now we walk 2.5 miles everyday and he LOVES to run up and down the stairs in my apartment. My once fearful dog happily joins us when we go out to eat, go shopping, or walk down Chestnut Street.After 5 weeks he completed camp and was sent home full time but started to develop separation anxiety (my partner and I live in a small apartment and WFH) and cried anytime he was in the crate during the day or left home alone. This behavior was disturbing to my neighbors, so once again I found myself reaching out to Natasha for help.They enrolled my dog in another week of camp (at no additional cost to me) and I received a personal phone call from Dan with advice on how to change my behavior and stop this issue. A couple of weeks later and it's like I have a new dog at home. Yesterday I was able to leave all afternoon and my dog didn't cry once.The team at DPT are experts in dog behavior and they really care about dogs and about their customers. I know 100% that when I drop my dog off for training or boarding he is in the best hands. This program is worth the investment and I am so grateful to Natasha, Dan, Bryn, Sidney, and all of the trainers and staff for their help. They truly go above and beyond and thanks to them my dog is now thriving :)“
