Mike is fantastic! He works with our 1.5yr black GSD who is beyond energetic and a little psycho with strangers. The first time they met, she kept barking at him and he was completely unphased. He knew exactly how to handle and behave around her to get her more comfortable. The first 2 times he picked her up, she was a little wary. However, by the third time she knew what was up and looked forward to going with him. We love Mike because he took his time to talk to us and the patience he showed Nezzy. Not only does his walks help with her energy management, but she has also become so much better overall. At the park, her recall has improved significantly. On the walks,...read full review

Does the word balance appeal to you? Work/life balance? Balanced diet? Well have you heard of balanced dog training? I hadn't until I called Mike for a phone consult of my bad puppy Peanut. My senior pup had some seriously overgrown nails and Mike responded to my super random late night next to get Meeko's nails trimmed the next morning. Hallelujah! It might have worked out well because we were actually close by, but it felt like a minor miracle. My dog is an old Pomeranian who can be difficult, as he's sensitive about his paws - especially his back legs, as he's injured from a bad dog bite a few years back - and generally skittish. Mike's truly a dog person. Picked Meeko up, calmed him down, and got his nails trimmed. Meeko even got to enjoy a car ride... and miraculously enjoyed it on the lap of a stranger! I would highly recommend Mike.
