We've gotten help from Boris twice, first for a complicated toilet removal and second for another toilet fill valve and flapper replacement. Both times Boris was super responsive and offered fast high quality work. Pricing is also fair.
If we ever have major plumbing issues (hopefully not), I'd definitely be calling boris first.
Bay Area Plumbing is one of the last honest independent owned businesses. We've been using them since ~2018 when our landlords asked us to find a plumber for some emergency issues. Now that we have our own place - we still call Boris when we have an issue.
This time our aging water heater was going out on us and he offered us two options. Replace a part or replace the heater. Considering that the heater was over 10+ years old - we didn't want to run the risk of throwing money out the window to be back at the same place in a few months.
