After discussing our remodel project with numerous Bay Area contractors, we feel fortunate to have chosen Arthur of Arthur Remodeling to remodel our kitchen and bath. Arthur demonstrated his knowledge and expertise in every contracting discipline, is an extremely competent and highly skilled craftsman who is patient, reliable and fair. Our project threw him a few challenges that he handled by contributing his own ideas that were ultimately time and cost saving as well as being excellent solutions. We had a 24- hour water leak in the fourth floor of our 106 year old building in SF, which damaged three kitchens below and insulation in basement. Ceilings,walls and floorings needed to be repaired and rebuilt. Appliances needed to be replaced. Soon after Arthur and his team visited the building, we received a reasonable budget and plan. It's a real pleasure working with Arthur and his team. They are mild-mannered, soft-spoken individuals who understand all aspects of construction. Nothing is too difficult. I ended up hiring Arthur Remodeling for several projects around my house based on solid Yelp reviews. Arthur gave me a competitive bid for the work that needed to be done, and right away, I liked that he came across as very composed, honest, and reasonable. He replaced 6 old doors for me, including my front entry door, installed new French doors in my dining room, new garage-entry back door (all with new frames, and complex locks), as well as replaced 3 interior doors.
