As an individual person (not some big landscaper) I just discovered and LOVE this place. Where can you get just 1 bag of sand/lava rock/pebbles? Here! And at half the price of garden centers. This truly was an amazing find. People are helpful and friendly and even loaded stuff into my car for me all 3x I went. If you need stone or sand and an individual buyer, I STRONGLY recommend trying these people. I'll be returning.
My wife wanted to do a small project in the backyard. a flagstone paver walkway, I know I did not want to get sucked into the home depot vortex of looking for things online, so I had always drove past South West Boulder next to the 5 Freeway and decided to check it out, When I arrived last week Bailen walked up to me immediately when I got out of my truck and offered to help, so I explained the project my wife wanted to do and he took me over to the flagstone stock and showed me the different colors, sizes and types of flagstone, he even let me take a couple small samples to show my wife. Great experience at the Pacific Beach location of Southwest Boulder & Stone. They have a wide variety of options and a really great selection of materials.
As soon as I pulled in, the staff directed me where to park, which made everything easy right away. I brought photos of an issue I’m dealing with — my 10-week-old puppy has been digging and chewing in parts of my yard — and instead of just pointing me to a product, they actually took the time to talk it through. When the front desk wanted to be sure they were giving me the best advice, they reached out to management for extra input.
