Best animal Urgent Care that there is. They have several options for financing when these unexpected emergencies happen. My dog had emergency surgery here because he ate a sock and it caused a blockage. The cost was much less. About $3800 total including blood work and X-rays. Reading through these reviews it’s awful how people write negative reviews based on price and acting like they are expensive when they are not at all. I almost didn't come here because of some of the reviews, and I'm so glad I didn't listen. People need to remember that urgent care isn't the same thing as your regular veterinarian. They're seeing sick and injured pets all day long, and they're going to prioritize the pets that need immediate attention first. Honestly, if my pet was critical, I'd want them to do exactly that. I also see people complain about diagnostics, but how else are they supposed to know what's wrong? Our pets can't tell us where it hurts. X-rays, bloodwork, and other tests are often necessary to figure out what's going on and make sure they're treating the right problem. For me, the experience...read full review
We brought our cat to San Diego Veterinary Urgent Care after discovering a foxtail stuck up her nose. The staff was kind, compassionate, and able to see us quickly. They explained everything clearly and took great care of our kitty.
The prices were very reasonable compared to other emergency clinics, and we appreciated the excellent care we received. We highly recommend San Diego Veterinary Urgent Care to anyone needing urgent care for their pet!
