I would not really say this place is affordable and they are definitely understaffed for the amount of pets they take in. What started as a $200 thing ended up at almost $500. Make sure you inform yourself prior to coming here.

Some of the negative reviews on here are pretty ridiculous. This is a high volume clinic. If you're expecting to receive concierge service (and pay 3-4x more), go to your vet. When I arrived to spay my cat, everything was very organized. You wait in a nice patio at the back of the building and fill out the necessary forms (if you haven't already), while an employee walks around and checks that you have proof of vaccination. Once completed, everyone is let inside in a single file line and you wait your turn to drop off your pet and pay your fee. If you have any questions about optional services, they will go over them with you. I received a call roughly 6 hours later to pick up my cat. When I arrived, it was quiet and the employee at the front desk went over post-op care and provided me with medicine, instructions, and my invoice. My cat's (dissolvable) stitches look great and she was back to her old self in no time. Everyone was kind and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would not hesitate to bring another pet here in the future.

The last neutering experience we had with our Mail beagle, was a very good one. We chose to go through our local family that. Nothing but the best care. It came at a fairly high price. All the visits or testing or bloodwork and lab work that needed to be done before the neutering came to roughly over $1000. Now that it was time for our little female seven and a half month old cockapoo was ready to be spayed. We were hoping to save a little bit out of our pocket. After a little research, my daughter found San Diego affordable spay and neutering clinic. The address is 2860 University Ave. in San Diego. North Park to be specific. 13 March was her surgery date. I will say it seemed a little hectic. Many of us were in line waiting for the gates to open and be checked in. Your dog will not have the surgery if you do not have all day appropriate paperwork. In prospect, I applaud this CLINIC for requiring everything that is necessary for the welfare of my pet. They are highly organized. They are courteous and friendly and with all that was going on in the clinic extremely kind to everyone we picked up our little girl at 3:30 in the afternoon and after a really long nap, she woke up and by the next morning which is today she is her same little Henri self. I have nothing but praise for the work that this CLINIC provided. I liked everyone that helped in that clinic. I couldn't say more about how great the service is, considering it was quite an experience with all the dogs that showed up to be checked in for their day of neutering or spaying. When it came time for us to pick up our little girl, we were even offered in helping take her to the car. They wanted to make sure that we absolutely were carrying her in the correct position not to disturb her sutures. Excellent work. Should we ever be in the market for another pet and when it comes time for neutering or spaying, this will be the clinic we go to!! Did I mention the total including bloodwork and everything needed, including the surgery was just over $400. I liked this place a lot. No I loved it.
