“This place was truly amazing, I went in with a couple of my girlfriends. We all decided to get tattoos. I’ve always wanted the Prince symbol, and so I have it on my left leg. And then I love this place so much I went back two days later and got another tattoo on the another leg. The guys couldn’t have been nicer made me feel so comfortable. And they even had a big mama table for me to lay on. I’m always afraid I’m going to break a table. Of course I haven’t yet but they had one just for me anyways.“

“I booked artists “Leo Cadenazzi” for an appointment on August 2nd, 2025 for a 5 inch wide by 7” negative space cross enshrouded by skulls and roses.
Leo specializes in this, and is one of the senior, highly desirable artists at this studio so it took me over a month to even get through the door.
His pricing was more than fair, borderline a bargain given his massive talent and renown.
The stencil he created was spot on with the references I sent him, and when I arrived at the shop he was smiling and ready to go.

His easygoing demeanor was affable, and his expert consultation on placement, especially after telling him the other pieces I would be getting in the same area was excellent and probably saved me a huge headache in the future.

The shop was clean, calm, and not totally covered in gore and nudity as is the norm for most tattoo parlors, which I appreciated.

Leo powered through close to 4 hours from start to finish and completed the piece with blazing speed and efficacy. Any novice or intermediate artist might have taken double the time.

The payment and waiver process was a breeze, and other artists there were professional and cordial.

I drove 45 minutes one way to get to Funhouse Tattoo in Pacific Beach, and waited a month to secure Leo’s services. Worth every penny and every second, couldn’t be happier.“

“I felt like I was at home with family on my first visit here on this past Saturday. I was a walk in with my daughter to get her an eyebrow piercing for her birthday. James was hilarious very warm and friendly and gave excellent service and entertainment. Once we went to the back Oreo the piercing specialist was quick, concise, and thorough explaining everything in regards to the piercing and care once he clamped down it took a flat minute and my daughter was good to go said it the clamp was hurt more than the piercing itself. I was casually asking around about a sheet of star wars themed tattoos at the front counter and on pure impulse from the good vibes I ended up getting a quick tattoo with a new employee my tocayo Chris. I was his first customer and he was super chill and respectful and having been inked before by several different artist I never had such a light hand do work for me. Barely felt anything. We talked about possibly touching up, re outlining some old pieces I have and even a cover up on my arm and I will definitely be back. Oh and the music was fire and the joking around was hilarious. Thank you fellas James, O, Chris, also the gentleman that helps the shop and works next door and the female artist that was in the shop there was no direct service but we had very nice brief conversations and laughter as well.“

“Courtney is wonderful! I have been to her twice to get my eye brows waxed and tinted, and even got an ear piercing and she does the best job. She listened to my wants and concerns getting my brows done and I walked away feeling very happy with them. The atmosphere is clean, fun, and laid back. “Miguel, Julian and Jake were fabulous! My family and I came in late on a Friday evening and Miguel greeted us right away. He showed us qr codes that link to each of the tattoo artists’ work. This was super helpful and allowed us to see whose style matched with the designs we were considering. There was no pressure, they gave us all the time we needed, answered our questions and offered us snacks and drinks.

We made appointments for two days later as they were very accommodating to our scheduled activities.

The day of our appointments, we had a blast! They made us all feel so comfortable with just the right amount of talking (while working the whole time). There was so much laughter and chill convo! Not to mention, our tattoos came out just the way we envisioned and they were completed much faster than we had anticipated. It was also Miguel’s birthday (the artist that did my tattoo) and since we had such an amazing time, we asked them all to take a picture with us. We were thrilled when they agreed!

Cleanliness: Cleanest tattoo shop Ive ever been in!

Stylist: Miguel did such a great job and was so efficient, my sister asked him to do her tattoo as well! Julian was very thorough and gave my daughter great suggestions about how to enhance the design she chose. When he finished her tattoo, she loved it!“

“Huge thank you!!! I walked in at about midnight with no expectations. I wanted the artist, Chris, to do whatever he wanted on my leg. Black and white or color I left up to him. Design was up to him. I did pick the size which he kindly printed off a couple different ones to choose from. Safe to say I am so impressed with how it turned out! The colors are amazing! We were there until about 4am and he continued tatting until he was satisfied with the tattoo regardless of the shops closing time; I can't express how much I appreciate the effort he put in for me!
