After looking around for a good hair salon with reasonable price, I came across this one on Yelp. Even though there's not many reviews for this place, I decided to give it a try. It's a small unit inside of a complex, but it's not hard to find. The salon is very clean and neat. The hairdresser used pretty nice products and was not rushing when cutting my hair. I love my new haircut and would come back to this salon again. Highly recommend this place!!

The boss is extremely skilled and serious. He will chat with you if you want to, and won't make awkward conversations if you don't want to. He is simply a role model in the industry. I have tried many barber shops in the United States for more than ten years, and this is the best experience.

I know his target demographic isn't using Yelp for haircuts and hair dye around San Diego but I just wanted to say how amazing he was. I gave him a reference photo and though he changed a bit with the color (so it could fade into that color and last longer) it was Perfect. My hair was jet black virgin hair so bleaching took a while but this was my first time going ashy brown and it was so gorgeous after I was done! A thing to keep in mind is that he is more fluent in Mandarin than English but he does understand it well enough that someone with baby Mandarin levels like me was able to talk to him!
