I couldn't be happier with my first visit to Ackroyd & Van Hoose Optometry. Getting an appointment was easy; Dr. Mark Van Hoose was a delight - he was thorough and explained everything with detail. My glasses were ready within the time frame quoted and they were just as expected. The entire staff was polite, efficient and very friendly - even parking was a non-issue. I can't recommend enough.

I have been fortunate enough to have been a client of Dr. Archie Ackroyd for several years. He is superlative among medical clinicians I've encountered. He is highly knowledgeable in his field and he carefully answers all questions, being careful to ascertain that his answers are being understood. I've also found him to be a very compassionate individual who is capable of a great deal of empathy with his client. He also takes as much time as is needed before ending one's appointment. I was very pleased with my recent visit to Ackroyd. I especially appreciate the quality of service that the staff provided. James was very helpful in explaining all my insurance options and the ladies at the front area were also very helpful. I have trusted my vision health to Dr Boeck for a number of years now. He has never disappointed. He has always been thorough in his examinations and while my primary residence is in New York City I always return yearly to Dr Boeck due to his professionalism and strong chemistry with me, which I feel is very important in a doctor/patient relationship.
