The studio has a community feel, with classes and activities that bring people together. Whether it's a candlelight yin class, sound bath meditation, or vinyasa hot sculpt, EPIC Yoga has something for everyone. The teachers are expert, loving, and gifted, making every experience unique and authentic.
Sara's workshop this weekend was fantastic! I particularly enjoyed how much chanting we did throughout the experience. Some of the new postures were quite difficult for me, but along with Sara's expertise guidance, the chanting and breathwork really helped me to work to through the challenge. The gong bath was the perfect way to help me integrate my experience. I highly recommend her classes.
Wendy Skinner, Jet Johnson and Mary Cady are wonderful and knowledgeable yoga instructors. They go the extra mile by preparing interesting yoga positions. They make every effort to work with each student. Wendy, Jet, and Mary also understand each student's needs and are very patient. You can tell when an instructor goes out of their way to prepare for each yoga session.
Ana Claudia Cannon is a wonderful yoga instructor. She goes to great lengths to ensure her students understand each of the positions. She also brings her harmonium to enhance the class.
Josh Plotkin is a fabulous instructor! First, what I like best about the format of his class is one can adapt the intensity of the experience depending on their mood and ability. On days when I need to take it easy, I can go mild. On days when I want to challenge myself, I can do that within his flow style. Second, I love how Josh attends to folks in the room and offers individual support. He seems to know exactly where each person is at both physically and energetically.
