We hired Bella Bridal for bride, 3 bridesmaids, and mother of the bride. The highlight of the hair/makeup process was hands down when we handed my mom a mirror after her makeup trial, and she started crying saying she hadn't felt so beautiful in a long time. I can't imagine not doing the trial, despite the extra cost, as we tweaked almost everything about my makeup after that process. I had a very tough time picking a hair/makeup vendor - as someone who used to do my own full face of makeup each day, but recently developed skin sensitivities, my headspace is complex and I came in with worries about reacting to products. I have mixed feelings overall, as a clean updo was important, but a bit of my low bun fell down. Overall, I think they delivered what they promised, which is a very natural "no-makeup" look. The subtle fake lashes were probably my favorite - they looked so real and lasted well all day. Remember to provide your own lip color for reapplications throughought the day.
I am writing to let you know I had an extraordinary experience at Monarch Salon a week ago. The whole staff was very kind and helpful. I had planned to go to another barber, but they lost my reservation. Though it was a busy day, Monarch was able to take me. My session was with America, and she did a wonderful job. It was my best haircut in years! I highly recommend America and the team at Monarch Salon.
Marisela does amazing work and she is so talented. They say a picture is worth a thousand words I would totally agree with Marisela’s work.

I came in with a painful toothache, assuming it was a cavity that needed filling. I was in a bit of a panic because I’m leaving for a month-long backpacking trip on Saturday—and the idea of dealing with dental pain in the backcountry was not ideal. I’m also just a visitor to this area. To make things more stressful, I’ve had several bad experiences in the past and am genuinely afraid of going to the dentist.
From the moment I called on Monday, the staff was kind, accommodating, and reassuring. They were able to squeeze me in the very next day. Everyone I interacted with was warm, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. I never once felt like a burden or like I was being rushed through.
Dr. Yvette was absolutely incredible. She was gentle, thorough, and truly took the time to listen and explain everything to me. She did a few tests, reviewed my X-rays, and quickly figured out that it wasn’t a cavity at all but likely a cracked tooth that would require a root canal. She explained all my options clearly and made sure I understood every step before moving forward.
To top it off, the consultation and X-rays were very reasonably priced, which I really appreciated.
Dr. Yvette referred me to an endodontist and, miraculously, they were able to see me the same day. Here I am, just one day later, pain-free and ready for my trip—something I didn’t think would be possible earlier this week.
I’m beyond grateful to Saint Helena Family Dentistry. They turned what could’ve been a nightmare situation into something smooth, manageable, and even comforting. Highly, highly recommend.
I originally came across Health spa Napa valley on resortpass.com, but ended up booking through them directly for massages for three friends and me during a trip to Napa. We enjoyed our services and had a nice time relaxing by the pool. Christina was super helpful - she ordered us lunch from the restaurant next door and brought it to us by the pool, and also managed to rescue my watch after I left it in the robe pocket! We will be back!
The check in process was easy and Gina, our host was awesome! Both of us scheduled massages back to back. You pick from four fresh herbs which your therapist uses to make both aroma and oil for your treatment. Our therapist Bridget was excellent and went above and beyond. I had the 50 minute Zenith... Locker room was clean and neat. Shower was good after figuring out how the two handles operated the water from the rain shower and handheld. The ladies room shower water pressure was terrible. Annoyingly they add a 20% service charge of which ONLY 15% goes to the therapist. Prices are high so be prepared to drop $300 or more if you tip 20% So glad we are not staying at the hotel...see separate review.
Love love love this place! We are only in St Helena part time, but wouldn't take our pup anywhere else! Kara and her team are the BEST !!! We were recommended by a friend and now we know why everyone loves this place. Do your dog a favor and check them out!
I've had Matt w/MJ Plumbing come out for several different jobs. He's checked the water filtering system, crawled hnder the house for a multiple of issues, replaced a garbage disposal and added an outdoor vent. I trust Matt's experience and expertise in all things plumbing. He responds quickly, is honest and upfront and always gives options. I recommend Matt with MJ Plumbing very highly.
Richner Painting has again done a superb job of painting for us. This has been our third painting project with Richner Painting. This one was for the interior of our guest house. They have done the outside of our main house and an interior job of the main house. Their painters are highly skilled. Not only that, they do a great job from Mario's estimate, to prep work to clean up. I highly recommend them for your next painting project.
Toni does an excellent facial! She takes her time and really opens pores and moisturizes. Highly recommend .
Fidel and his team are incredibly considerate, kind and carefull in every aspect of dental care. Fidel is the first and only dentist my children has seen and they really enjoy his presence and kindness. He and his team are gentle and caring and my children appreciate going to the dentist, as do I!

I had a situation with blurry vision and needed to be seen as soon as possible. I called the St. Helena location and they were able to schedule an exam with Dr. Tran. This was my first visit with her, but she was welcoming, kind, informative and helpful. It is reassuring to see a doctor who actually listens to your concerns, doesn't judge you and makes you feel comfortable. I also appreciate the effort of getting me added on to the schedule the same day. This type of patient care will keep me continuing to make the 50 minute trip to my appointments.

This office provides OT services with a hand specialist, Carolyn Bartlett, who is absolutely AMAZING!!! She is personable, well educated, and makes "homemade", made to fit braces, right there in her office during your visit. She truly cares about her patient's medical issues, and about their recovery!!! Also, this office offers a warm"mini" pool that absolutely helped me with my pain. I highly recommend you choose Adventist Health St Helene CA, OT/PT, on Main Street.
Fantastic service. We had a flat tire leaving our hotel in the Yountville area and had someone roadside to help us within 30 minutes. We can't thank this company enough for getting us back on the road quickly to enjoy our vacation!
I always see Signature Tree Solutions around the valley, so when my willow tree started losing major branches above my home, I decided to give them a call. I am hugely grateful to this medical team. They saw me last minute at 16:45 on a Friday and saved me from having to go to the ER to get the antibiotics I needed. Alessandra Almazan knows biracial hair, with all its unexpected ways, ie. loosely curled in some places and more tightly curled in others. Anyone who has Afro mixed heritage knows the challenge of finding a hairdresser! I called ahead and asked, she said she had experience, and she wasn’t lying. Great cut and great color. I’ve been seeing Megan here for a few months now and she is the best! My hair was pretty short when I first saw her and she added some style to it at that length. Since then we’ve worked on growing it out a little and she’s been really helpful at keeping it looking good and stylish through it all.
Megan has also suggested some better products for shampoo, conditioner and pomade and now my hair looks and feels so much better and healthier than before. Thanks so much Megan!

Poh Dentistry is the best! Dr Poh is careful to listen, thoroughly examine, and then prescribe a treatment that meets the highest standard of modern dentistry. In addition, she was trained at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.
