“Booked an appointment here for the first time last week and absolutely love and recommend them! They let you wait in your car while a room is prepared, which helped my pup's anxiety massively. The team made sure I was with him as long as possible and only brought him to the back for five or so minutes. The vet, vet techs, vet assistants, and support staff were all kind and listened attentively to my thoughts and needs and responded accordingly. I didn't feel pressured at all to buy procedures that weren't absolutely necessary. Last and definitely not least, I was wearing a shirt which designated my pronouns as they/them. Not only did the staff compliment me multiple times on the shirt; they also correctly gendered me, which is above and beyond any veterinarian's office I've ever been in. Will definitely be using them in the future! :)“

“We decided to try YLPCC is weekend. We were seen on time. We liked the fact the doctor did the exam and procedure right in the room with us. He explained everything though out the exam. We were sent home with medications which they explained how to administer and when, also possible side effects. We were pleased with the visit.“
“I took my cat here with no appointment after leaving an office that wanted me to stay in the parking lot while my cat got checked out, she had never been to the vet sick before so i didn’t feel comfortable not being with her… i called Via Verde Animal Hospital and they were able to reassure me i’d be in the office with my cat talking with the Dr, when i got there, even as a walk in, i was helped right away! everyone was super friendly and communicative, they gave me a few options for complete care with different price ranges so i could make the choice to do at home medication or keep my cat there for inpatient treatments, i felt they were understanding of my budget concerns and made sure my cat got everything she needed to get back to full health without breaking my bank. upon picking her up they told me how sweet and calm she was the whole time which eased my worries about her first vet visit and i know they were kind to her. They even called the next day to check in and make sure Mango was doing well with the take home treatment. Overall a positive experience even while dealing with the stressful situation of having a sick kitty. Thank you for your kindness Via Verde Animal Hospital team!“

“Myself and my wife went after the New Year to take in our 14 + old Tabby gray cat GOHAN to see if they could put him down as he was suffering for over 9 days he had multiple medical conditions , and had been slowly declining never complained by crying or anything. We had a rough time getting through the process of parting ways with Gohan he was such a great cat & will be missed dearly. The Doctor, his son , & their staff were very understanding and still being our first time visit at that clinic, treated Gohan as they would do any animal checked ,examined him, weighed him, explained his condition to us , and allowed us to be able to make the hard decision of putting him down so he could be at peace. We highly recommend this clinic , and will definitely be bringing in our other animals to this clinic . Our clinic was booked and closed one extra day for New Years and we appreciated this place for being open, and that staff, and doctors , for the way that they handled our situation professionally. “We only visited Paws and Claws with our dog Daisy once, at the end of her life. The doctor sat with her, cuddled her close, and gave her tender care. The process was comforting to know she was in such caring hands. Additionally, they even sent a card signed by EVERY doctor and nurse in the hospital, and a paw print of our dear departed puppy. An absolute class act of compassion and care, and if/when we get another pet, they’ll be the first place we go. Highly recommended!“
