I highly recommend Carmen’s photography. I have been thinking about doing a session for several years as a gift for my husband. I decided it was finally time to just do it.

I researched a lot of photographers and decided on Carmen because she has an all female staff and takes the guess work out of posing. I’m so glad I did! Everything was just as they said it would be. They provided transparent pricing and explained the whole process in detail. They offered support for anything you could think of from the initial text to picking out your favorite photos.

The day of, I was warmly greeted by my hair and makeup stylist. She explained the process of the day and got me started. She was so warm and inviting, I started to relax within a very short time.
Once she was done making me look amazing, I met with my photographer. We discussed my outfits and which backdrop would work best. It was a collaborative process, but I chose to go with her suggestions. She explained and demonstrated the poses, adjusted things that needed adjusting, gave encouragement, and reminded me to breathe and relax during the whole shoot. I even got comfortable enough to do the sheet set (highly recommend).
After we finished, I waited a very short time to view my photos. OMG they were amazing. I thought I would like a handful, but I liked the majority of them and absolutely loved some. It was really hard to decide on my favorites.

I had an amazing experience working with all of the wonderful women. I wish I were better at names to give them all credit. This may have started out as a gift for my husband, but it has turned out to be a gift for me as well.

I felt like a supermodel. It was one of the most uplifting moments I’ve experienced in quite a while. The women made me feel incredibly loved and celebrated — I was placed on a pedestal from the second I walked in until I walked out.

The team at Carmen Salazar photography studio are all so nice and professional. Great communication from staff from the moment I booked my appointment. So uplifting and empowering. This was my first boudoir experience and I can't wait to do it again!

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. During the session, the behavior from the owner, Carmen, felt very aggressive and unprofessional, which made my wife and me extremely uncomfortable. The situation became tense for no clear reason, and the atmosphere was not friendly at all. We expected a calm and professional environment, but instead the interaction felt stressful and disrespectful. Because of the attitude we experienced, we could not enjoy the session at all. When you work with clients, especially in photography, professionalism and patience are very important, and sadly that was missing here. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this service to others.

I had a very unpleasant experience with this photographer. The communication felt rude and unprofessional, especially when I asked simple questions about the service. Instead of trying to help, the responses sounded impatient and unfriendly, which made the whole situation uncomfortable. As a customer, I expected polite and respectful communication, but that was not what I received. Because of the attitude, the experience became stressful and not enjoyable at all. Good customer service is just as important as good photography, and unfortunately that was missing here. I would suggest improving the way clients are treated, because it really affects the overall experience. Based on my experience, I would not choose this service again.

My husband and I did a couples boudoir with Carmen and we had so much fun!
The entire process was seamless, and I liked that in between the waiting period and our photo sesh, they communicated via email and text about any questions we had leading up to our photo day.
Nicole was super friendly and very personable!
Summer did my makeup and hair! She is super sweet and did an amazing job. She was easy to talk with and was open with how I envisioned my hair and makeup.
My husband and I were lucky to have Carmen do our shoots. She told us exactly how to pose and helped make us feel beautiful!
